  1. ^^^^^ there so bad he had to say it twice!!! powerflop will probably be able to make you a straight through exhaust but it wont be super high quality... get them to fit a 2.5" pipe, that's not a problem but they will have to fabricate the tailpipe and it just wont be the same. my mate wanted a buddy club so bad for his mr2 he has gone and got a custom one made, but from a very highly rated exhaust fabricator local(ish) my way. so go for it but find a better place. I think Monster motor sport are developing there own version... so perhaps keep your eyes peeled on them maybe
  2. it does a bit wished mine was that stable on just the HKS actuator, i guess they all differ slightly. my old glanza seemed to be cursed with boost creep no matter what i did... oh well dont get that now with a ct20b and 2litres lol.
  3. ... or both drift round B roads haha. only joking, driven a few and they are nice little motors... little girly for me, but with styling and deep rims it would look awesome!!
  4. get it slammed, weld that diff... then go drift like a mo fo! sweet little ride mate :harhar:
  5. I only realy used my ebc to control the creep and help keep a stable boost curve without the power dying off towards the higher revs... helped more with my hybrid then the ct9 though lol. sparky fucked a piston down to a bad map i belive, a stock (unforged) engine shouldnt have any problems with 1bar. Jo i told you, you need more boost! :harhar:... think you should run 1bar ;)... it's fun!
  6. knock sensors are quite delicate, it might be the case that it's a bit intermittent. so you reset and it's ok... you hit boost and it goes crazy again and puts the ecu into safe mode. they can play up when ever, remember they are probably the original so pretty old. mine went in my old V. might just be good to replace it and see how it goes.
  7. but an ebc does aid spool time and helps with keeping a stable boost curve, and the obvious advantage of being able to tweak boost levels in the cabin of the car without burning you hands on a hot manifold lol. but yeah as stated it isn't essential. depends how much you want to spend or whether your on a budget.
  8. ahhh not on there any longer so not so hot on the old gossip in the EP world lol. what happened? trading standers step in and close the site down?
  9. just suddenly popped into my head... were is Toby at nowadays? done a quick google and dont seem to be able to find his site (toytuning) so perhaps it's been taken down? he cant be screwing people over now i guess, just wondered what the world had in store for the old chap.
  10. perhaps give keirz a PM, he will definitely be able to point you in the right direction, also thrust bearing ct9 would be sweet! but the only person to ever get one into production was Toby from toy tuning (ooo the bad word!) but yeah i'm most intrigued lol... hybrid away
  11. Mt Edan- Forbidden... wicked little tune! or... Imogen Heap (the track changed )
  12. I like the second full nose cone (just to be contradicting ) makes it look proper mean like
  13. tbh a custom made cage would be allot easier and beneficial to you then trying to source a cage. plus unless you weld in the cage it isn't really going to stiffen the chassis up that much, like you stated i think an ultra racing cross bar, C pillar brace and normal rear brace would be all you need. the above plus a rear anti role bar and it would be awesome! might get a bit tail happy though, dependant on how stiff the rear gets
  14. sounds good buddy! find a place to port the turbo intake, get a bigger intake comp blade, find a shaft to match the exhaust blade if in good condition should be just fine to use but on the other hand it might get super long and cost alot to do your self? I'm still highly convinced that the intake blade had that done intentionally (in remembrance of the old thread lol)... if a stone went in it would have either made marking on the inner-housing on the turbo (which i cant see) or the exhaust blade would take damage from the stone passing through (which i also cant see) plus it would push it out
  15. yeah there will be a boost drop, it's just the longer piping. nothing to worry about
  16. i was about to post and say that is the wrong way round... so in essance pulling it further then usual so would have been around 1bar insted of 0.8 or something lol. nevermind all sorted, good work people
  17. tbh it looks like a pretty mint car! but overpriced for sure... as stated £3k would probably be pretty bang on
  18. there was a massive group buy over on tgtt by mark (glanza.co.uk) i had two on my glanza ... wicked little stickers!
  19. yeah having it there is a bit hit and miss... my mate, ran his glanza with his like that's except on the passenger side for like over a year no problems... i rock a slightly smaller then average plate in the normal place and they basically bum the sit out of me and fine me . but still looking mint! and an fto in a colt!... will be immense
  20. it's all unfair fwd Vs rwd... aobviously the rwd's will loose. still funny to watch, as thats exactly what my mr2 was like in all this snow
  21. air filter will be and piggy back ecu, but mani decat etc etc wont fit mate as there designed for the turbo engine.
  22. ^^^ it's not a tubby mate lol, boost controller would do very little but yeah as stated will get very exspensive very quickly. but simple air filter, exhaust, decat should free up some power
  23. well everyone did tell you have you played with the springs at all? you might have left them a tad loose with like 0 preload and there moving around on the damper slightly. have you had them properly set up? like camber, alignment ect... if not you need that done soon. or just sell them and get BC's lol
  24. will be minty mint! some super nice parts gathering there buddy. now get it built i want to see more haha
