  1. Agree with Stu there, ive been burned by being honest. Just leave it and plead ignorance! No proof, no story. However if it has been reported the police are obliged to follow it up and normally find that people under 25 (young drivers) normally incur a court appearance. John
  2. Mines stripped out caged and fully forged! Definetly the route i wanted to go down! But it wont be a luxury motor . John
  3. It cost me £40 to have my last 306 dturbo Vic. It had been written off for a cost £2100. I straightened the tailgate, replaced the bumper and rear lightd and that was it cost me £140. It doesnt affect insurance as me and my.mate have both run d/r cars. When selling your only obliged to tell them if its been damaged if they ask but with thingd like text checks its better just to say! John
  4. They get supplied with a paste that hardens with the fittings in there kit. Ha you must have superhuman powers dude! John

  7. Too much spinach mate! Thread tape on the fitting, npt fittings dont need horsed in! If i was home i could have sent you a new one i have sitting! Hope someone can help you out before that! John

  13. Served my time as a Mechanical Hydraulic technician at a Oil and Gas company working on ROV's, Winches, Hydraulic Power Units and A-frames. Recently just took a change of career to become a ROV Pilot Tech. I'd agree Shorty, seems like we have a pretty wide and competent workscope on the forum! John

  23. Its the centre bore needs to be modified im sure? (read the topic and a spacer is needed). And yeah im pretty sure its an Astra aswell mate!(It is an Astra) John
  24. Hah it was not due to dodgy wiring it hasnt run. Its just veen off the road! As Ryan said thats a good way to check. When it did it to me, i left the ignition on and pulled at the battery terminal leads, i could hear relays clickin into life as i did it. So i tidied up the connectors, made sure everything was tighyt and it was fine after that. John
