follow the wires you would bridge back to the furthest back point where you going to cut them, be that at the fusebox or at a control box of some description and bridge them there

That does sound awesome. however, ill be interested to see the outcome a mate of mine used to own a twin engine Renault 5. and it just used to want to kill you if you accelerated it wanted to spin you if you braked it wanted to spin you if you went over a bump so one engine revved it wanted to kill you be interested to see how this turns out, especially with it seeming to be aimed to be a competition car!

yeah i meant grease the underside of the top mount on the face where the spring touches it. not the actual thread

I had a similar knocking/pinging noise on my ep3 mesiters Rattle gunned the top nut and greased the bottom of the top mount and the spring seat. Hasn't made the noise again yet
