  1. Have you tried a wet test? Drop a teaspoon of oil down each bore, if the reading rises then you have a ring/cylinder problem. If it doesn't it will most likely be a headgasket issue.
  2. Theres the carbon ones or these ones : http://www.rhdjapan.com/cusco-reinforcement-pillar-side-bars-set-10479 Lew's got the carbon ones on his GT, they are adjustable as well so can be put pretty much anywhere on the roll cage.
  3. Cusco do some I believe. Only place I know you can get them is RHD, unless any traders can get hold of them.
  4. Some insurance companies will actually give you discount providing its an "approved" snap off boss.
  5. OEM pistons don't have any numbers on them and they don't have deep valve relief cut outs. I would still pull the sump to check the rods.
  6. 8.3 Nm, doesn't have a sequence but just use common sense like you would a cylinder head ie opposites
  7. Sounds to be pointing that way mate.
  8. lol believe they've had 298bhp outa that turbo before, so am sure it will stretch to just over the 300 mark.
  9. Am guessing mate lol, I think Chris would be annoyed
  10. Tbh buying a 1 bar spring will be far cheaper than buying an electronic boost controller, but they do have their uses and some like the AVCR have some awesome features.
  11. That looks immense mate, the perfect blend right there!
  12. Change the rad cap for a known working one mate. As above check the dizzy and rotor arm, might be worth changing the leads as well if they look old and tired.
  13. The VF22 is good for upto like 380-400bhp, which imo won't make a good road car as it uses the largest exhaust P20 housing. VF24 would be ideal, or if you want a little more punch the VF23 or VF28.
  14. Received my drill bits the other day, going to crack on with finishing off removing the last little bits of paint on the back, then going to pull the front carpet up. Designed one of these today as well http://s164.photobucket.com/user/BoobZ18/media/VelocityStack_zpsad9b3da6.png.html'>
  15. 41 is the TPS and 52 is Knock sensor. Check the wiring on the knock sensor, and check to make sure that it is earthed properly, I believe they are earthed through the shroud and onto the block. Check the wiring on the TPS, or swap it for another item. When you do either reset the battery and try again to see if you still get the EML come on.
  16. Try a diagnostic test mate and see what it comes back as.
  17. You'll be better off with 74.5mm pistons if going 5E mate, just incase the cylinder gets scored or ruined you can easily go up a next size. The 0.5mm difference will yield next to no power gains. Tim is more active over on TGTT, but give him a ring - 07779 415207
  18. A VF22 would be wayyy too laggy. The VF24 will spool like a td04.
  19. FSE are pretty good, do the job. Sard bit better but if your looking at buying brand new your paying for the name. Aeromotive is the one to go for, about £130 I think it is.
  20. Probably about 240bhp.
  21. Pauter and Wiseco, Tim @TB Developments is the best, cheapest place to get them Or you could get some Carillo's if you fancy spending about £1500 just for the rods and pistons.
  22. Thats quality! Does your mrs make her own cakes or get them outsourced? Got some skill if she makes her own!
  23. Yeah I found it in the end last night mate. I think the car got shipped in April, I see the pics of the hill climb he's going to be doing, the views look epic.
