When my car went in for some work the company told me they will not be able to touch my car for at least 4-5 months and gave me a date to bring the car down as they had lots of work in and did not want to rush anything. They also stated the work will take approx 6-10 weeks to complete. The gave me a deadline and they stuck to it, Other companies quoted me a quicker turnaround but I decided to wait for my local tuners as they were honest with timescales from day 1. Personally I wouldn't let any company forge my motor if they quoted me a 2-3 week turnaround (IMO that is a rushed job) My tuner and engine builder is extremely meticulous about his work and will not rush any job and will rectify any issues without argument, His main priority is his customers and reputation where as other companies only care about taking your money. I did alot of research on tuning companies and looking for feedback and background info on them. TBH i was shocked at the amount of poor feedback I seen for so many so called reputable companies. When people ship their cars from all over the world to the u.k for building and mapping you know you have found a good company. They only take on jobs which they know they can complete if they are too busy you have to wait.

I had a marine set up and a tropical set up, Its nice at first but slowly starts becoming a headache with maintenance after a while and gets to the point where you cant be bothered anymore, I gave both of them away for free Im going to buy a parrot soon. if its a tropical tank set the heater between 22-25 degrees

I ordered mines from USA it was $225 usd. They cost about £300+ in the uk.

there must have been a fault code on the ecu that was never wiped off. by disconnecting the battery for a few mins will reset the ecu and wipe of any stored fault codes. If your engine management light comes on for 30+ seconds the code gets stored on the ecu and will not run right until it has been reset.

Personally I would only use a denso pump from a supra.

I use my uncles workshop and usually work there on Saturday doing MOTs services and repairs. Huge space we have a full snap on mot test ramp with all the extra trimmings and 4 2-post ramps. 2 more ramps to be fitted soon and we will be extending in late 2014 or early 2015. I will have my own corner in the workshop with my own ramp. I have already started collecting tools.

Ok im pretty certain it does work My mate had this done to his mazda familia gtr as the gearboxes are extremely weak he went through 3 gearboxes in the space of 1 year. Hes not running massive power only 1 bar of boost and using a fuel and boost controller, Since he had his box treated 2 years its held up really well and he launches it all the time. If anyone knows much bout the mazda GTRs the 1st thing they will moan about is how weak the gear boxes are and most owners dream about fitting a celica gt4 box in them but its too costly and requires parts of the sub-frame to be modified for it to fit and stress plates being fitted.

Im toying with the idea of getting my gears cryo treated to toughen them up as I dont want my gearbox to strip any gears once the V comes back on the road in a couple of months, Has anyone had this done or does anyone have any more info on the pros and cons for this procedure? cant justify spending thousands on a dogbox as the car is only used in the summer for street and the odd trip to santa pod for a bit of drag racing.

From a legal point of view Adam is liable to pay the money back if Gee or Asbo begin civil proceedings. I know it sounds horrible but its the law and it sucks. I hope you all manage to work something out to resolve the matter.

I would say its turbo oil seals if you have oil in the intercooler.

U seem pretty clued up Adam. I have heard of people running their engines in on a dyno. What are your thoughts on this?
