  1. I put totally clear MK1 indys on my Quadlight, they look so much better than MK3 ones.
  2. Just seen this for the first time in a few months 5 mins ago in Stirling.
  3. I dont know if they are still trading ? Carbon Goodies is doing a GB on carbon S bonnets ATM.
  4. Pressure washer is the best thing i've used. I tried green nitromorse on a rocker cover and it just turned the black paint grey and that was it lol. Or for wheels id just take them straight to sandblasters, saves messing about.
  5. This is on UK plates, get a boat over, insure it and drive it back home on a boat. Easy. My pal is quite interested but hes needing to sell his motor first by which time this will be gone. GLWS buddy, love the ZEP bodywork theme.
  6. Rob you should go back to your time attack idea and get a big slutty drift wing. Like this, http://www.rhdjapan.com/zep-racing-carbon-gt-wing-50983 Or like the one on this silver V.
  7. News to me, earlier than usual is it not ? In the year i mean.
  8. Ok, so thought it would be good to compile a list together of all the JDM exhaust systems that were originally made for Starlets. I'll put a couple up and people can add to the list HKS Super Dragger Blitz Nurspec R 5zigen Border 304
  9. Defo need a spoiler i think, i love the livesports but theyve been done to death now. What do you think of the JAM or Varis ones ?
  10. If you do put it in a vice, which is your best bet, cut up an old rubber car floor mat to protect your coilover from vice teeth. Try and get a hold of paraffin and use that as a lubricant, its a lot better than wd40. And obviously give it some gutty with a deadblow mallet. It should budge then If not then get the blowtorch out. When youre happy with the height give the threads a good paint in copper grease and you can even tie strap a bike tyre tube around them too.
  11. You have spotted some amount of starlets in the last few weeks haha. Its not my one. Ive seen this cutting about a few times too, M reg with bronze grids.
  12. Haha Paul, i'll hopefully get round soon man
  13. My GT is sitting down at my work, waiting on parts for MOT retest. I've only drivin it a few KMs but really cant wait to get it out on the road !! So much time, effort and cash has been put into it and little reward so far...
  14. Thought that car wasn't registered. I think theres only the chassis plate on the bulkhead and possibly the chassis number scribed into the bulkhead beside that.
  15. ^^^^ Burst out laughing hahaha. V is looking sweet as ever man.
  16. Thats a good bit of info there Morgey What about if you send me your diff, and i'll see if my CV cups fit ? lol.
  17. If you look closely at the documents it says it was imported in 2007, but it looks like its never been registered ? Theres a price of 600 quid on one of the documents. Maybe the colour fade is because its been sitting for so long ?
  18. It could well be a worn shock, broken spring, knackered top mount, drop link etc. CVs tend to 'click' at low speed with a bit of steering lock if they are worn.
  19. Id seen this earlier but didnt know what to make of it not being registered. Lovely looking, its that 8K9 colour.
  20. What make are the lowering springs ?
  21. I dono why but im chocking to do a wee N/a build next. They seem like a good laugh. Theres a paseo just in at a nearby scrappies, think i might go and get the 5e for a future build, hmmm.
  22. To check for wheel bearing play, jack the car up and shake, not violently, the wheel up and down. Then spin as fast as you can and listen for any grinding noise. If its a front wheel then get a pal to 'drive' the car in the air, whilst you pinpoint the noise. Make sure your hub nut is properly tight, cant remember off hand but the torque setting is around the FT area. Broken exhaust hangers, metal bits, are easy to spot. Rubber hangers might be worn or stretched causing the exhaust to bang on the rear axle. As for the gear grinding, this could well be worn syncros. Pretty common fo
  23. You'll have no bother with the sump, aslong as its flat, both surfaces are clean, you use a good sealant and let it dry for a reasonable time. You putting the forged motor in your own car ?
