I love them too! Altho im in two minds whether to swap the centre with my other recaros... confettis are staying for now though! (Auto because daily😆)Plenty of baths ofc! Needed one after all the dust from the trip! I try to use it still where i can otherwise ill loose interest, driving is just as fun as playing with bits!

Got a photo in almost the exact spot i parked the car in when i first picked it up from southampton! Here it is with my trusty daily sr i had at the time. 4 years later, Spare engine and gearbox mounts blasted and powdercoated, Next up was japfest at donnington, a spot in the middle of the track which made a change. pre show clean, Thanks to tom selby for these two, used to be a glanza owner Here it is at a local show to the work in kimbolton. Classic car show with a great variety. Now this has to be one of my favourites

Just check it out now! Looking forward to seeing it come back together after the paintwork! SO... without further ado, June 2019 i took the car on its annual trip to the isle of wight to see my girlfriends family. I actually really love the trip, weathers usually been great unlike the mainland, its like it has its own climate lol. Run down the A34 is always awesome too. Down in Southampton waiting to board the ferry. Boarded we luckily timed it with the great boat race which was pritty cool. I take photos in the spot every year! Home time aft

Certainly is! 2wd sadly but reflet x with climate control too! It feels faster but the long gears in the auto box makes similar to a uk spec n/a. Desperate to manual swap it but the overdrive makes it sit at 80 happily without revving the nuts off it. Thread on here for it incoming...

Allot of progress since i last checked in here! Looking forward to seeing it out in the sunlight as thats when the pearl should come into its own! Any other new bits fitted to the shell before the rebuild? New screens, rubbers ect?

Great plans ahead. For a very oem+ car its a good way to up the power with a very original look. Also interesting to see how a 5e n/a can perform. I still a enjoy driving my relfet! Even after using the glanza. Just wish the reflet had a manual box lol.

Very disappointing, this whole covid situation has really put a weird spin on things. Maybe with everyone staying indoors and getting bored of facebook the forum might wake up again lol. Some good plans lined up! Always good to see starlets getting some good treatment! Thanks James, alot of time into the car over the 5 years of ownership! Battery annoyingly keeps going flat at the minute lol.

Some great progress on this james! Great to have some detailed description and plenty of photos too! So after all the replacement seals has the oil leak been fixed? Any future plans?

Sr’s definitely come with a speedline as the spare wheel, as rob said, standard carpet you just get a hump in the floor. Bit of an after thought but always nice to have a full size spare wheel i suppose.

Yeah these clips are a nightmare because they go through the arch liner to hold it on. As youve done, best to buy replacements and remove the ones on the car, readily available on ebay.
