Nanglebadger
thanks for reading it dude, thats some undertaking! And thanks for the kind words. Its had its ups and downs and been very difficult at times, but its quite gratifying at the minute that it can just sit in the garage whilst I source assorted bits and pieces, and fine details to tidy it up, and not worry about will it be ok for work in the morning! i can take it at a leisurely pace, and the best part is, MOST of the hard work and big investment is behind me. Now its about getting her up to scratch and MOT worthy and enjoying the Blitz set-up! Picked up some nuts and bolts and self tappers from work this week, so pedals will be firmly mounted by the weekend! Phil.
Nanglebadger
Update Pedals securely bolted up last nite, including a touch of graphite grease. That just leaves mounting the footrest to sort out. Spoke with Monty on Saturday, work is progressing on the rocker cover, it's in primer already, so I'm gonna have to see about some fresh oil seals, rocker nuts and PCV shortly. Current spec list to serve as an updated reference point as I realized it was out of date whilst discussing spec lists with a colleague this morning (Momo mats and pedals removed, OEM pedals, Glanza footrest and Ultra leads added): ExteriorSmoothed front bumper cut to fit FMIC with black meshTTE splitterDe-badged and smoothed bonnet with bonnet raisersCrystal clear headlights with Ring Xenon bulbs and Glanza headlight adjustersLate spec Glanza indicators with Silvatec bulbsOEM headlight protectorsCrystal clear side repeaters with Silvatec bulbsRing front fog lightsAriel removed and smoothedDoor locks removed and smoothedBump strips removedMirror back plates colour codedOEM wind deflectorsGlanza side skirtsGlanza rear spoilerGlanza rear bumperZisco OEM-style ducktail spoilerOEM Carat tail lightsHRF rear spatsBootlid de-badged and de-wiperedMedium tint on rear windowsLower rear foglightTRD windscreen decalTRD rear sunstripEngine BayGlanza 4E-FTE engine conversionWEPR FMICCustom s/s exhaust with HKS Silent Hi-Power end canNGK Iridium spark plugsHEL braided clutch lineHi-Attain lightweight throttle pulleySmoothed fuel railSARD oil capSARD magnetic sump plugTuning Developments oil catch canTuning Developments reservoir coversPorted exhaust manifoldBlitz decatBlitz SUS air filterBlitz K1 turboBlitz ECUBlitz SSBCBlitz top radiator hoseSamco lower radiator hoseSamco intake pipeHonda Civic half sized radiatorHKS adjustable actuatorGReddy Type 2 dump valveCarbon filter canister and pipe work removedCJ Performance lightweight alternator pulleyCJ Performance lightweight power steering pulleyCJ Performance lightweight crank pulleySmoked clear cambelt cover with 4E-FTE engraving(GReddy / Grex oil filter relocator - TBC)TRD engine mountsBlueprint clutchBlue silicone hosingTwin Alpha hornsOEM headlight motors removedK&N Rocker BreatherRW Developments blue silicone oil returnUltra spark plug leadsInteriorCorbeau Carrera bucket seatsWillans 6 point harnesses with Willans harness pads280mm Bride-replica steering wheelAutogauge Rev counter w/ shift lightA-Pillar pod with Autogauge Volt gauge and Autogauge Oil Pressure gaugeApexi EL1 Vacuum gaugeApexi EL1 Boost gaugeApexi EL1 Exhaust gas temperature gaugeApexi EL1 Oil temperature gaugeApexi EL1 Oil pressure gaugeApexi EL1 Water temperature gaugePivot Speed MeterSR clocks w/ blue bulb coversTRD carbon effect dial surroundTRD carbon effect centre consoleTRD carbon effect window switch surroundsTRD short shift kitGlanza cup holdersHonda S2000 start buttonOEM illuminated ignition surroundOEM Rhiostat switchOEM passenger footwell storage boxOEM armrest re-trimmed in grey alcantaraOEM din blanking plateOEM rear transmission cover (EP82)OEM Toyota Rescueman MkIIOEM pedal setGlanza footrestMomo carbon effect handbrakeMomo carbon effect gear knobMomo carbon effect gear level gaiterMomo door sillsAftermarket cupholders w/ storage trayRelocated horn buttonSecond rear window heater switch used as front fog light switchRear interior strippedOEM sound system removedSeatbelts removedHeadlining removedRear interior wire tuck, including boot-pull cable and petrol flap pull cableRear washer piping removedDoor open sensor wiring relocated inside B-pillarCobra AlarmGlanza V front door cardsJDM Emergency FlareHandlingCusco front upper strut braceCusco front lower strut braceCusco rear upper strut braceZisco C-pillar barUltra Racing Room Bar (EP82)Jay’s Garage B-pillar barsWhiteline adjustable rear anti roll barTRD front shocks and springsKoni rear shocks and springsVolks 5/4s / Speedline SafarisBrakingEBC Yellow stuff front padsEBC grooved and dimpled front discsEBC Ultimax rear padsHEL braided brake lines front and rearGlanza rear disc conversionCusco BMCSToyota 5.1 fluidPainted calipers (Hammerite Hammered Black) Phil. Reading back through that spec list there, and sitting in it on Sunday night has put some fresh thoughts in my mind also. But first up is the rocker cover and some OEM Glanza mats. Cheers, Phil. Nanglebadger
Awesome thanks John!!!! I need to learn how to do that with my phone!!!! Cheers Liam. All credit goes to the extremely talented Monty as he is the man behind the awesome! I can't take credit for the work, I spoke with John about how he did his, brought my paint into the house to warm up, then thought I should just let a pro do it in case I fucked it up. Cue Mr Monty!! The colour he has been able to match as closely as possible to the powder coated inlet mani I bought off Starbuck last year, so should all tie in pretty well hopefully once all fitted! Couldn't be happier with how it looks, just need to arrange collection which I have had to delay due to other commitments this week. Big thanks to Crooks for acting as delivery man also, saved me getting lost in the wilds of County Armagh!!!!!!!!!! lol. I've also spoken to Monty about the rear floor. I'll just leave that sentence hanging there for a good while until I can pursue it further ;) Phil.
