Thanks for all the comments guys, much appreciated. As much as I liked my old car this one is in a different league, proper love it.

Mega respect to DaveEP91 (who is actually called Mike lol, meant to ask what was with the username?) for taking this car from stock to what it is now and looking after it so well along the way, I plan to continue that and make it my own. Thanks for the spec list too.

Im fully sold on the Auto X's, just not feeling the HM3's on this one, already had a few PM's about them so I they may be gone before I even have chance to put them up for sale.

This weeked got my Evo 4 Recaro's to fit, new number plates, some new gauges, short shifter and JAM gear knob, my DVD player, my pedal covers and my Cusco BMCS if I get round to it. Will update then.

Updates.

Firstly new plates without the GB logo and proper 13 x 6.5 import size rather than the 13 x 7 plates that were on there.

Next up seating arrangements!

A little seat party

They are a set of Evo 4 Recaro's, both on genuine Recaro rails with the drivers side having the low position rail from my silver car.

Fitted very snug and are a massive improvement over stock seats, I dont know how people live with stock seats, these sit you where you should be sitting and give a much better feel for the car!

They are a real sweet match to the standard interior and look rather OEM in a 98 spec.

After that I made some interior adjustments!

My old DVD/TV everything player back in and some new gauges!

Not forgeting my JAM gear knob and short shifter, nice to have a sold shifter again.

These gauges do look mega although they are blatent copies of Defi's, i dont mind.

Then yesterday it had its first proper clean under my ownership

New 'Starlet' decal added also

You can see here it shines up really well!

One of the engine bay, changes in here have been the wrapped intercooler piping, removal of the bov, and fitment of my CUSCO BMCS what a difference that makes, never noticed on the old car because it was there from when I got it but after fitting it to this I was amazed at the improvment of pedal feel.

Still got a few remaining bits to swap over from my old car. No real future plans just keep it clean and enjoy it! Feels like my car now too which is good :)

Yeah I am mega pleased with it Sparky, drives so well, looks a treat and is just a nice car to be in.

Plates were from eBay Liam, here to be exact http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Real good quality too, proper reflective perspex stuff, not that horrible printed on cheap tack black plastic stuff. Also has all the MOT stuff really small so will pass an MOT but cant even tell the markings are there.

Seen as I dont need to buy anything for this car I though id treat it to a best parts service, full coolant flush, fan temp switch changed etc:

Mega oil this, car feels so much better running on this stuff!

All went fine, next morning check levels etc, top up oil, leave oil cap off ftw! NOT!

Went out blasting and it stunk of oil, couldnt work out what was wrong, pulled up on my drive and see smoke coming out of the bonnet! Manifold on fire! Luckly I blew it out without any trouble but it left me with this mess:

So yeah, never going to do that again, oil is still slowly seeping down the front of the bumper as its stuck under the skin of the bonnet!

Got my exhaust straightened too.

Feels like a different car after the service, totally loving the TD04 now.
