The Toffinator Posted January 13, 2013 Author Share Posted January 13, 2013 (edited) Little update, Managed to get the brakes on, Set the coilies up a bit better for my roads, Fit the Cusco brace, My greddy oil cap, And also flared and rolled both arches, The rears have flared nearly 10mm, I had to pull the rear bumper ends out to meet the size of the arch lol! Only downside is it cracked the paint, So i spent hours today sanding and prepping the rear arches, Priming the, and its sat waiting for a few coats of paint,Laquer and lots of underseal to keep them mint for the future, Will get photos off them later when there done! Last bit of the chassis to do is the RARB, Which needs painting so hopefully have that on by the end of the week, And mabye start on the turbokit on the weekend... Here are a few snaps of how its sat anyway, Give it a quick wash as it was minging! Think i might lower it a bit more, Sitting slightly too high for me at the mo, Will have to see though on my roads:( Opinions and suggestions welcome as always! The Toffinator Posted February 6, 2013 Author Share Posted February 6, 2013 Another little update, Finally got the rest of the kit so got it all bolted up to see how it looked, Also fully stripped and chemically cleaned the turbo, and give it a light porting. The Toffinator Posted February 7, 2013 Author Share Posted February 7, 2013 You could say a semi rebuild, replaced the large o rings on the turbo core, chemically cleaned the core, ported and opened up each side of the compressor housing, then gasket matched the turbine housing and cleaned/ ported the wastegate and the rest.
