After 20,000 miles on the road with this set up its time for a few changes!! fist up is a new intercooler! This turned up today fresh from the USA!! Precision intercooler with Garrett core its only quite small but will cool a hell of a lot of air!! Theres quite a lot more to come over the next few months so keep ya eyes pealed lol!! Rob H@RCH Engineering Posted January 2, 2014 Author Share Posted January 2, 2014 Well I had a day playing on new years day as we dint go out or anything I was nice and fresh!!! Dad was messing with other stuff so I had the place to myself all day! I marked the old cooler before I took the bumper off just to see how much was covered up and most of it was! more of the bottom but a chunk of the top was too. So id say the new one is perfect!! I then made some fresh new brackets to weld onto the crash bar. Clamped up ready to remove the bar to weld them on. Next was to make up a new hot side pipe, I dont tike the pipes under the cross member so I made it go through the front panel to keep it nice and short! The cold side is going to be done the same but I need to move the rad and brackets over first to make space for the pipe so it got this as a quick bodge but had to to change it again as I could not get the bumper back on lol.
