Test fitted the arches last night. going to need ALOT of work to make them fit properly!

Unless you're mounting them lower 15s will be too small IMO, you'll need a 16" wheel probably

Yeah just looking at the size of the arches, they seem to open up a lot wider than the original arches. 195/50/15 would maybe just about fill it but nobody likes fat tyres haha

Guessing you'll be going 8J, yeah 195 will stretch but IMO 50 profile looks rubbish, 45 looks much cleaner stretched

I think you're referring to the number plate cutout that the original one has in the middle. Our replicas have that smoothed over as we know most of you guys use a FMIC.

just looking at prices of tyres and i can get Nankang NS2's for £130 for a set so better than i thought i just remember looking last time and seeing the prices of them compared to the 50's!

I'd find it worth stumping a little more for 45s for the sake of fitment issues! Gonna go for 45 rainsports myself, best tyres EVAR!

If you're going wide arches etc the last thing you wana do is go all stancey and fuck about with stretched tyres bro! Time attack calls for 205/50/15's period .

True, but you don't want the monster truck look! Wider tyres only look good if they're something like R888s or other slick style ones

Mine is hahaha, 15x7 205/50/15 r888's .

I love the big beefy track look. Don't get me wrong i go love a bit of stance, but trying to stance a starlet - never gona look right (imo of course).

i think the kind of stretch on the wheels is minimal compared to some cars, it will still be usable and still look good ;)
