Motor might of just dried out, I greased the bearings when mine was acting up and it ran sweet as a nut for ages after, might be worth a try. What side Amjad? Might have a offside regulator over my lockup, you can have it if so cannot check til Monday though as cars not on the road yet.

Regulators can seize, remove and give it a clean or replace, grease the motor bearings at the same time.

Hello there, has anybody registered a car in the UK recently? I have the appropriate V55/5 forms here which is asking for all sorts of information that I'm unsure of, it's asking for drive by sound d/b, engine speed sound and other crazy stats and figures, how do I find this stuff out? The Internet has told me that if the car is non Eu and over 10 years old all I need is a mot certificate which I already have, Can anybody confirm this? Or if anybody has filled the docs in lately please enlighten me with a list of what's needed. Cheers James

I've heard that indigo gt over in Caerphilly are very knowledgeable and have tuned a good few Starlets, I'm going to enquire as to what ecu they reccomend and gather some info etc When the time for mapping comes.

I have a local recovery guy taking me to collect on his truck mate, I don't know him so unsure if he would be happy to hang around, Hoping to attend Japfest tho so I will be sure to pop over for a chat and watch you tearing about on track, noticed your selling your mines ecu, what setup you running now then?

Update on this for anyone interested, the car landed Thursday and cleared customs Friday, off down to collect her in the Morning. It's been the slowest 2 months of my life waiting and tracking the vessel but hopefully will be well worth it. I will fire up some pics once she is home and had a good bath. James
