Yea mate I will be giving it a go I have a few other things on my to buy list and might try the set up on a bigger turbo depending on what I buy next
-
haha to be honest mate I didn't even think it could be done and was going to get rid and go blue or ultimate but when I seen it on here I looked into it and as I said no harm trying
-
I Have a TMD hybrid turbo and they have been known to run at 1.2 max , ive done a lot of reading on it and on tgtt.com there's a few people saying 1.1 is fine This is from a fair few years ago mind

MUST HAVE!!!! Looks awesome mate -
I already have a jam ecu so il buy an EMB and give it a go whats the worst that could happen? I end up going full EMB and sell the JAM ecu making myself some money hahal
-
theres socks in the for sale section
-
looked it up and supras are running stupid bhp using emanage and blitz plug and plays so it works its proven it works its just not common
-
I think that's what im going to try out that way you keep all the features like 8k rev, speed cut and fuel cut just a more fine tune
-
im getting the rail lines and rrfpr be going bigger bhp next year hopefully so its just all mods leading to that
-
I know that but with a zisco fuel rail you need an rrfpr , il be setting it at stock pressure at first but I know full well its over fuelling on idle at the minute
-
Sounds good mate cant go wrong with zisco stuff and keith is a legend, extremely helpful guy and all.
-
Exactly im running jam ecu, forged engine with hybrid ct9 all supporting mods etc and ill be receiving an rrfpr with my zisco rail. everyone says the ecu should sort the fuelling out but il fine tune that bastard to run better so looks like il be buying a wideband asap !!!
-
Think this needs to be a sticky or something because its helped me out a lot !! Most solid info I got from this is invest in a wideband
-
bloody hell!! sorry to hear about the car mate fingers crossed you can turn it around cheaply enough
-
As above its optional however its a nice safety feature to have, depending on what turbo timer you have you can by a harness that makes it a piece of piss, its basically plug and play and the handbrake bit is nearly as simple just use a compression connector to tap into the handbrake cable wire cant remember what wire it is but there are only two.

Im running a jam ecu and il be putting a sard rrfpr but only due to having a zisco fuel rail and braided lines also il be going for bigger BHP next year

cheers mate the engine itself is solid like just wanted bit more specific info
-
I have a forged engine and the likelihood is that its built by TMD now we all know unfortunately Dave has passed away and the TMD brand with him. Now does anyone know what spec they forged there engines to as in what rods, pistons , rings etc ? It also has a hybrid turbo that I assume is from TMD as well and if anyone has any info on what sort of components are in his hybrids that would be great as well
