Oh, I just resoldered the plugs to be fair. It's just positive and negative.

MR2, Toyota Carina, Glanza. Uk Spec EP91. There is a big range of Toyota motors that will work. I'm running Toyota Carina window motors.

Yeah, although most of it exists on the Alternator and lower arms now. Cars developed a minor (massive) leak. Although unrelated to the brand of oil used lol.

Fuchs Silkolene https://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-68897-fuchs-titan-race-pro-s-5w-40-ester-fully-synthetic-engine-oil.aspx Gets my vote. But each to their own.

Yeah a little bit, mine never leaves 1/4.

Ahh very Nice Ollie. Didn't know you bought one. I believe you, since you've had both you're in a good position to say so.

I never understood why people bought ACL bearings if they're only good for such low mileage. I have to ask Ollie, what are you driving these days? I know you spoke of getting a Honda. I love Honda's, but a Turbo Starlet is better than most other cars of its class. For performance, price, insurance tax etc etc..

To be honest mate, I'm not aware of any reliability issues at that sort of power. If you're the type of person who nails their car everywhere, sure it won't last forever. But if you're just interested in blipping it down the odd road here and there, that sort of spec car should last. Naturally maintenance is the key, pretty sure the car should be running ACL bearings at that sort of power, although not sure why, but in any case, they only last 25,0000 KM. So as said, maintenance is key. Also with modified cars, they

Hello, Would love a Pulsar, but even some of the UK's finest are rot boxes. Can't go too far wrong with a Glanza and that sort of cash. I'm sure you'll find what you're after!

Aww sweet! -
Gorgeous little car! You using this more than your Glanza then these days?

That second one down was just the old pieces cut and spot welded onto a new plate.

I had to have one of the side skirt brackets fabricated in the end. Rotten beyond salvaging.

Toyota Starlet EP91 of 1996 with a 4E-FE
Calum122 replied to Art_starlet_fan_974's topic in EP91 Progress Blogs
Yeah, not much you can really do with the brakes to be fair. Best investment is a set of decent pads. Ferodo DS2500 if they do them for the UK Spec. Suspension is a good shout, again not exactly cheap. Rear Anti-Roll Bar is going to make the car perform really well in the twisties. Adjustable Pan hard rod is a must if you're getting suspension. Any weight you can save is going to help everywhere. Civic Half Rad, PowerSteering Delete, Battery relocation. It all depends on how far and what you want to do. -
No, somethings amiss there bud. Shouldn't die. I'd get that looked at.

I just bought generic powerflex ones, work fine

Suzuki G16B or 2nz-fe pistons
Calum122 replied to Ryan.Truesdale's topic in Alternative Engine Discussions
Nah man, my brother has receipts for the rebuild on his starlet which came with new rings and pistons and I'm pretty sure the build was less than 1k full engine rebuild. Bought the car off @SpenceGT. Not sure if he was the one who had the engine rebuilt. -

Pretty sure the stock pistons can be bought from Toyota, unless I am mistaken? -
Could ask where this chap got his Recaros reupholstered! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Hilux-1st-Gen-Surf/202308116316?hash=item2f1a80df5c:g:cEQAAOSwH8ta8eiF

Motorbike discs have holes in them, and the stopping power on some bikes are unreal. Although, granted, huge weight difference.

Lol, I'm so quick at fixing stuff it's unreal. Ollie, you were spot on mate. After 15 months, I've actually driven the car up the road, and low and behold when I got back I was getting 14V at the battery on idle. So you were spot on mate. The car has been sat for three years, after priming the engine with the fuel pump off. A few turns with the ignition on and off. I kid you not, car started in an instant. Didn't even add any fresh fuel. Just a quick oil change. Car sounded very health too, didn't smell great, but sounded

Very clean bud. Lovely looking car.

Aww, I can't find it now. But trust me it's a good giggle. Cause they were really excited. Went to all that effort, and then bitched about how shit it was. Probably the only time I've seen someone do a drum brake conversion because drums were better. Classic. Oh wait here is a thread. Oh And this one Not sure if it's the one I'm on about though. To be fair, the banter in those threads are great

Pretty sure you need the rear axle as well then. Also also, have you used GT Glanza brakes lol There is a bit of a LOL thread where some guy was like "Yeah I'm going to convert", five minutes later "The brakes can't be this bad surely?", another five minutes, "Yeah I'm switching back to drums" Don't knock drums, they're decent brakes.
