  1. Ah that sounds wicked. Throw some photos up!
  2. Absolutely superb job on this. Looking like a lovely motor. Keep it up!
  3. You're kidding right? There is literally like 3 of them at my scrap yard. Glanza's and GT's sure, but EP91's man they're everywhere.
  4. Literally walk into any scrap yard and chances are they'll be a Starlet. Your car is so common that it really shouldn't be an issue finding the parts you need.
  5. No I mean for getting the Poly ones off in the future. They're tight. They definitely won't fall off. And also won't wear out as easily as the rubber ones.
  6. I just bought a set of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Powerflex-Exhaust-Mount-Bushes-X-4-Toyota-Starlet-GT-Turbo-Ep82/1988920285?iid=141869427094 You will want exhaust hanger pliers mind you, they ain't coming off without em! I mean they do, but it's painful.
  7. My advice, having bought the worst Starlet going, and watching my brother make the effort to get his, which was a million times better at the same price (albeit in Ireland), is this... You're looking at a 20+ year old car, which chances are, at some point in its life has been owned by some muppet. Be prepared to travel. I regret buying mine. Had it four years never driven it. If I had only put effort into finding the right one regardless of distance.
  8. I dunno, I'd say so. That engine bay looks clean. If you can fix the engine then spares shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure the car isn't rotten would be my advice. Engine work is easy, getting the chassis straight on the other hand....
  9. You have to hit them where it hurts I'm afraid. And like most situations, it's the wallet. If you all decided not to bother going this year with the excuse dropping a day at the same price, you can be as sure as hell they wouldn't make that mistake again. Alas, you won't and people go regardless. If they can make the same money with less work...well why wouldn't you.
  10. Yeah I'd be quite interested in this. I've never been in an Starlet turbo auto, and wouldn't buy an auto personally. My friend has a mercedes auto and that's tuned (maybe 500bhp) and it's SAVAGE! Although a lot of work went into it to enable to box to handle said power. I've heard good things about the Starlet Turbo Auto's. Would love to be taken out in one one day lol. I'd be interested in seeing what the limit is on those boxes.
  11. *Sigh*, I'd be surprised if the chavey gets 3K for that. Such a shame.
  12. Oh that's bloody lovely that. Would have it in a heartbeat!
  13. More photos please? I haven't seen this.
  14. Dayum! They should have given you a brave medal, 132 in a tin can lol, anything over 70 in my GT is scary lmao! I know I know it's wrong, but you're more bravier than I. I'm glad to hear you have relatively good news...don't do it again! :P
  15. Lovely car mate. I'd rather a MK1 GT over a Glanza all day. I would say this is priced fair. GLWS.
  16. Would you be willing to sell me the dash clock display thingy, pops out of the dash. And also how much. £10er?
  17. Looking wicked. Did you not fit that HKS fuel rail in the end?
  18. Never was a fan of meshing personally. It's never going to beat a proper filter and whilst you may be talking knocking the engines life by like a 1K miles (aka not a lot) I just personally dislike it.
  19. Yes mate that's wicked! Fair play to you!
  20. I still don't see what the problem is. Toyota never made a carbon fibre ducktail. It's an aftermarket component. It would be like saying, Athena gaskets just ruin the scene cause it's not genuine. I think for that price, for that look, that's spot on the money.
