Cheers Mike, a kg lighter, that's literally as light as the fensport ones. I shall get that then!
-
I did buy a Fensport crank pulley, but they've messed me about multiple times now. Besides, you single pulley actually looks better, although I'm more interested in the weight saving. That said, for the price of it, it looks like worth a buy. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Belt-Pulley-Crankshaft-Toyota-eng-2e-4efe-5EFE-COROLLA-E90-E10-E11-92-02/253234735148?hash=item3af5f7682c:g:efEAAOSw5VtZ9v5c Is that the one you got? Would you say it's any lighter than the stock one? I think I may have to copy you on that one to be fair!

Great stuff!

Be amazing :D

How are they any different from the stock ones lol.

Beautiful job bud. Really love the colour scheme that you've gone with as well. Very nice car, you should be well pleased with the result. Pretty sure I have this edition of Banzai as well. I have literally tons of Banzai magazines still in the cellophane, very unlikely they'll get read. -
That looks very smart!

Mate that sucks, I'm sorry to hear that. You've had this car for well over a decade now, when life has thrown shit at you, this car has been there. Sad to hear you're having problems. -
Tidy, why do you need the high RPMs? Is there any power to make it in that region?
-
Lovely wheel that is.
-
Tidy, what size are those Advans?

Best magnetic sump that is not alloy?

Surely an ally plug is better, you want the plug to strip before the thing you're screwing in to no? Anyone know the size for the gearbox? -
id-workz sells them...
-
Mate that was quick. Looks really good though, you should be pleased with the result.
-
What? That's looking really smart. I thought you said it was a scrapper?
-
Sorry, I thought you said you set the ignition but felt it was still off.

It's a twin cam system where the cams are linked directly under the rocker cover. If the timing is out, and all looks well on the face of it, it could be a tooth out under the rocker cover. The cam lobes need to be timed up together to ensure they remain in sync. Lots of information about that on here, well worth a read if you think it is a timing issue.

For glanza rep I believe you will need a boot as well, since you can't get the recess properly on the UK Spec one. Chap here is selling the boot. Just double check that I'm correct as I don't own a glanza.

Funny that, I done both of mine on the Starlet and didn't have any trouble. Maybe I done it wrong lol.
-
Wow, it's been that long since I looked at this thread? That can't be right. Last I read you were still getting the driveshafts made up, how did I miss the fact you had this running! Mad. What's the update then Matt?
-
You haven't got the timing out on the cam gears out have you? Or the overal timing of the engine out.

I may ping you an email some time Rob, this seems like a handy tool to have!
