is any one using killimats rubber water lines??
Bean replied to iamlegend's topic in Lifestyle General
could try a little bit of copper grease on the pipe and just keep twisting it round till it goes on. i have speedvision ones i bought a couple of years ago and they took me ages to get on the first time i fitted them. ive been thinking about getting a load of braided oil and water lines made up as i know a guy who makes that sort of stuff for industrial use and he does a top job. -
changing the gear ratios is easy you can just use the gt or glanza internals. what about the back end though enzo?

Out of interest what sort of money are those zoom springs all in delivered to your door. Surely they must be well expensive for just a set of springs. I've got a 2.5 inch system on mine and its very very close over the back axle and mine isnt that low on the back. -

Your cant fit a gt front arb due to it been a different shape because of the prop shaft. -

i might be interested in the rear arb. would it include the drop links too or just the actual bar? if its just the bar would it come with the bushes to fit the bigger diameter bar? what about a bigger front arb, as the stock 85 one is alot thinner than a gt one. -
i think they look absolutely gash!! they look like something you would see on a 205 in the mid 90's

none where i live ;)

yeah i thought it was a replica. if it was genuine it would have mugen stamped to it somewhere, and the tail pipe would be different.

i think the bc's still seem a bit too stiff on the softest setting for everyday road use, the meisters seem great though. and jerrick does a great service.

good work! i dont think ive seen any auto starlets with a decent turbo on yet, just a couple of hybrids. are you going to run a bar? do you think the autobox will take it orite? if your painting it paint the whole thing. i bought a zisco td04l kit a couple of years ago and as soon as the car was started up about 20 seconds later all the black paint just blew off! haha. so get something decent on it. sandblasting them gives the paint a good key to bind to the metal. maybe your mate could do that for you too. -
you paid that much for that which is just acts as a t piece!!

Bean replied to Bean's topic in EP85/EP95 4WD Progress Blogs

yep the silver one with the jdm decals is barnes one running the gt35, last i heard it made 515bhp at jdm and 520 at daztec. its been mapped for different boost levels in different gears to help with traction now. im looking forward to the next events should be good. -

I dont actually know him. I've spoken to him a few times, seems a nice guy. Johnathan has told me quite a bit about it though. I only know him as barnes. Theres a new corsa c thats been built by a scotish guy that should be a decent match for the other one. There like each others arch nemesis lol. -

haha sounds like hes had plenty of practise! i wish i could change the box on my ep85 in an hour. it isnt a preped strip or anything at kirkbride where they do the straightliners events so traction can be a problem for big power cars there -

yeah i know what you mean but the corsa hes thinking of actually doesnt seem to do that good times where they will be racing for the power it makes. it always seems to have gearbox problems. -
daz i would say your car will be running a td04 before this even has a working engine in it!!

i need a new o ring for the compression tester mate. i bought a set from halfords but none fit well enough. maybe walkinshaws might have one that fits.
