Awesome little things to mod these and parts are crazy cheap as mentioned. im keeping my ep91 uk 4efe turbo around 230hp but hoping to get as much torque out of it as possible. At these levels there beat most car out there on the road. welcome and enjoy.

Update the new hyb turbo is built and back from being balanced. The design I've previously mentioned. Ive also ordered the ic logic chips. I'm using cmos 12v logic, opamps, sensors and switches. and looking at 240v tig weilders so I can start fabricating alloy parts mainly intake power box and front air filter box.

Some outstanding products right there. That top mounted turbo manifold and intercooler with some higher lift cams and you will have great power output all the way till redline. Do you do a topmount tdo4 manifold I'll have 1.

Probly a spark plug breaking down or lead. Remove them and check

Probly best to get a more efficient (uprated) top mount intercooler. Weper do 1. From what I can see the midland turbo (Liam) hybrid ct9b look the best option. Remove the efi pipe very restrictive. Install a good fuel pressure regulator, hks turbo actuator, electrical boost controller and grind the hell out of your exhaust manifold ports. You should see a good gain on standard boost pressure.

Another great build. The starlets have some capable lads moding them. I just wondered if you knew about the 4efte inlet cam being higher lift. It would make a good addition

It's blink codes. You link out 2 pins in the diagnostic socket and read the engine warning lamp flashes

Truly very impressive stuff. With there being 4efe on and in the engine bay I started to think this was the high compression UK engine running 250+hp. Then I saw the low compression forged pistons. Keep up the great work. How much for 1 of them alloy front strut bars.

How much for one of these. I have just checked the movement and holy underpants is the answer there's more play there than a avengers film. Good spot.

Great read and excellent work. Looking At the Dyno graph id say exhaust gas temps threw the roof. I wonder if the engine survied this turbo.

I had a feeling you had bigger cams in because of the turbo design. Solid tune this respect. Your going to really hunt down them 0 to 120 mph times with your setup. Your tune is the polar opposite of mine aimed at the same speed range and power band tuned for optimum torque and hp. using turbo and cam arrangement's mainly but there so finally tuned squeezing every little drop out of it. It will be good to put our graphs side by side once complete.

In the evolution of the design on the drawing board. I started to compose the ic circuitry that will control the antilag and fine tune the torque output. In this area of development I started to realise the true benefits of being able to alter fueling and control air intake flow for different driving conditions. A quick example is the mechanical fuel regulator working in a electronic fuel control environment raising fuel pressure by upto .5bar on only light traffic throttling. This has the added affect of delaying the engine control management's ability the quickly hit fueling targe

There are alot of modern powerful fast efficient motors out there. Personally I couldn't run my starlet as the everyday car, and cars like the 500 abath 595 and the colt 252 are producing incredible power to weight figures on factory engines and crazy hp against mpg figures. The plus side of the starlets is running cost mainly insurance grouping, road tax band as well as they will only go up in price plus proformance parts are everywhere and dirt cheap.

I've got a tdo4l 15t billet\tdo4hl hyb here that was use for track real good top end torque output and full boost by 4krpm on my setup, it might be a little later on yours. It was described to me as a td0516g with better spool up. It's like new no shaft play. I'll be selling it in a few months
