Really nice lad in the gt. Well done! Also if we are going to be padantic about tyres, the andy forrest impreza had a stupid wing on the front! Would like to see that go through a mot?

Im confused? Some damn nice parts for sale but I thought this car had only just been finished? Depending on pay you will have a pm on some parts at the end of the month.

the man probably cant dance for shit but man he can drive!

Stock boost I believe is 0.5 on low boost and 0.7 on high I believe? The reason why you will be getting a higher boost reading in fourth is because the turbo is flowing more than the engine can take in. Fourth is roughly 1:1 in a starlet or glanza, so third would be a under drive allowing the engine to rev up quicker making use of the air within the inlet manifold.

yup can confirm both are the same. Also the heads are pretty much identical apart from the valve springs have a lower tension than the fte ones if im not mistaken?

You will be getting plenty of business on here Jerrick. welcome along buddy.

Your car was a pleasure to watch around the track buddy. Seems everytime you came around you had passed another car lol

Agreed with jamie on that one. Warrenty isnt worth a shiz now. Anything considered to be a "wearable item" isnt covered. Unfortunately clutches do come under this catagory. Its the same as waivers, sign one of them and you may aswel let them bum you. Dry. With no lube.

Yea seems good. I do believe any larger difference than 1 bar across all four cylinders would indicate a problem. 1 bar is 14.7psi.

I was told popping on overrun is due to the exhaust having a leak or a poor seal. Air from around the area that is blowing is sucked in causing the lambda to read oxygen in the exhaust so the ecu adds extra fuel the try and burn off the oxygen. Also if it is running rich there should be little or no oxygen in the exhaust to create combustion.

I dont understand how you can adjust a hydralic clutch. Have a look at the clutch fork sticking out of the gearbox with the slave cylinder attached to it. With the engine running does it wobble? That will be release bearing if it does or a possibility of the pressure plate on the clutch not torqued down in the correct sequence allowing the diaphragm spring on the pressure plate to have a "high spot" giving the wobble. Was the flywheel skimmed during the rebuild? If not the flywheel could be slightly warped also causing the clutch to wobble. Without seeing the car and listening to the problem i

Im sure I read somewhere that starlet gt turbo cambelts need changing every 60000kms or two years :-S. Bit like the oil needs changing every 3000miles and then do oil and filter every 6000 miles?

Hey guys and girls. Bought some hoses from enots through PM via his for sale thread. After coming to an arrangement we settled a price and paid via paypal the same evening. This was two days ago and I have received the item already. A pleasure to deal with and very fast response through pm! Sam.

Agreed with starbuck. Big red are good for caliper rebuilds and they sell kits too. But to be honest they are pretty simple to rebuild. A lil fiddly but simple enough.
