    Looks a nice S. Could bang a CT9 on it at 0.5 / 0.6 and im sure it would be fine. Can be converted easy enough depending on what way you do it. On top of the stuff mentioned, you just need a few other FTE bits like ignition setup, inlet, map sensor, fueling setup, maybe pas stuff depending which mani you go for, oil filter relocator or take oil feed from pressure switch, thermo housing if you want water lines. Etc

    If youve tried the obvious things then it sounds like its got, either a massive air lock in the system or a fucked rad cap or worst case HG on the way out.

    Heres an old guide written on TGTT http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showwiki.php?title=Timing+belt+and+water+pump+replacement Ideally you need an impact gun to remove the crank pulley bolt. Sticking the car in gear can sometimes help though.

    The TRD ones are all gonna be the same age as starlets near enough, unless people bought spares. I wouldn't waste the money on them. Poly mounts can be very shakey at idle, could try raise / lower the idle and see if its any better ? Hopefully Jezza gets these poly mounts made up soon

    Check the tension in the belt. Could pick up a replacement alternator for 20-30 quid.
