nastyrash 2003 Posted March 21, 2011 Share Posted March 21, 2011 i didnt there was one one an old one and it was pretty fooked so i put a new one onjust had it out for a run, its boosting better and stronger and the air leak problem is fixedalso Chris aka nastrash2003 your ported head is fooking superb it has made a mahoosive difference especially top end you really are a genius siryep fella 48hr labour urs took, and you should see the pile of alloy that was removed. i openend out all your inlet valve seats by about 1mm, this is 1 of the first mods that should be done to any engine the gains are thw out the rpm range, the standard 4e head are ruff as toast. just want to see som dino runs with it on. also want to try advanceing the inltet cam with a adjustable cam pully think. thr will be more bottom end power to be gained thr. enjoy ste Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Steve GT Posted March 23, 2011 Author Share Posted March 23, 2011 cheers dudeUPDATE TIMEShe sailed through an MOTyesterday so now has a years ticket on her Tax disc came through yesterday too so were still 100% road legal tooMe and socks had a day on her yesterday. Managed to get the cooling panel on, front strut brace on, Electronic boost controller piped in, all wires under dash tidied and moved, turbo timer fixed down properly, and TD fuel pump installed. Were pretty much nearly done now with everything planned Only things left are Rear strut brace needs slightly modyfying to fit, 2 new wheel bearings fitted at the front and rear Glow badge wiring up Spent an hour or so last night setting up the EBC and wow what a difference. managed to get the boost running at 0.7 bar from 0.3 just off the boost controller. obviously the adjustable actuator needs turning right up now so we can set the boost up properly and hopefully get it running 1.1 baril get a few pics in the next few days too ;) Quote Link to post Share on other sites
