ste91
Hows it going mate not seen you on msn for a while, the cars looking good, especially the engine bay. I bet the 4EFTE is a world of difference compared to the 5EFHE, what's the future plans, 1 bar? Bigger turbo?

Jozinobi
Cheers for all the appreciative comments lads Now I have her back she gets washed after every blast. Have also found out the oil needs topped up more often than before.I think the engine bay is nicely balanced now in terms of colour scheme, am gonna keep it that way.Really pleased to have such a good base to start from. Plenty of room for improvement, I assure you.The transfer from 5EFHE to 4EFTE is pretty significant, in that you can drive it normally but as soon as you go over half throttle you have so much more usable power and potential in your hands. Can really feel all the suspension mods coming into play now whereas before they were not even being tested.Future plans are to get a WEPR FMIC and turn the boost up to 0.8bar then 1 bar. When that time comes I'll be ready to pay Chris a visit for some e-management. SS that did my engine rebuild has offered me a complimentary dyno run so that is also on the cards. Hybrids & TD0 can wait til next year!Credit goes to Jay's Garage for all the fitting. All in all the EP has a new lease of life and a bright future ahead Joz

durmz
thats a serious suspension spec, what do you think of the ultra racing parts? as seriously considering them, only thing is alot of there bits are listed as only ep82 parts, do you have a pic of the room bar?edit; after much much browsing of this thread I found ure install pics on page like 24 or something lol, looks tidy, but I cant find it anywhere online for ep91, only for ep82? is this the one you got then...made it fit? or did it just go in nicely, thanks man
rob_bower
top work guys cant wait to get my conversion rolling still a fair bit away yet ill im sure ill be looking here for inspiration when the time comes!!
Jozinobi
Thanks for the kind comments lads @Lewis the 4EFE gear ratios just feel like they are on steriods lol. I'm just at 1k more rpm at motorway speeds. The 0-60 accel is quicker but a lower top speed (sounds ideal for trackwork). Still getting used to everything of course I have a GT gearbox waiting in the garage if this ever goes but it made sense to use it as its QUAIFE equipped. No point forking out for a brand new one just yet.@Durmz the your room bar I have is the exact same one for EP82, the only difference is an extra bolt hole on each bracket needed (for extra sturdyness) and a slight trim of said brackets. I will take a closeup pic later. As for the your parts themselves, some of them are very unique (fender braces) as no one else does them but they are good quality and Im pleased to have them fitted. Everything they have listed as EP82 will fit besides the rear lower arm bar which I am unsure of.I will be investing in a rollcage much later to finish the chassis off.Off to get some PS fluid now as mine is a bit low Joz
Dan507
Such a nice motor. i envy you!

Jozinobi
Durmz here are some pics Jay took of how the your Room bar fits into my EP91. your Room BarThe seat belt loops through the bar and the bolt on the right has been added for extra strength (same applies for other side), usually the bar isn't as solid.Joz
durmz
Clever solution i like it, thanks again joz
