I've seen jelly with less wobble in it then my ct9
morgey replied to Gumball89's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
The drain should be fine tbh. The other thing to ask is do you let in warm up and cool down after going for a blast to let the turbo cool? im guessing you do since you seem to know your way around a car. -

Disconnect your king lead so it doesnt start and just turn it over for a bit. Id also check the end of the feed where it goes into the turbo just incase thats the bit thats blocked. I think you should be able to put that into a tub so it doesnt go everywhere. -

What was it like when you put it on? If its gone from minimal to loads in 3 weeks id be checking the oil feed/drain To see if theres a reason why it's gone bad so quickly Otherwise you'll be throwing money down the drain. -
i though my brakes were close, u better hope they dont need to put wheel weights there!

center sections can be swapped about but only from starlet boxes as other toyotas that use them dont all have the bolt holes on the front for the mount. The bell housings in your case arent interchangeable due to you having an lsd otherwise non lsds they are. Gears can be fiddled about but you need to use the input and output from your desired gear. Final drive you need to match the output shaft to the diff gear. And splitting them i had an impact gun, and about 3 different sets of pullers!

As above but check things like rear wheel bearings are tight and the bushes on the panard rod and trailing arms Are in good nick. Theres not much else it could be. You could relocate your battery to the boot. -

Haha touchè. Decided being a tight ass was better after hitting my wishbones with a hammer a few times i figured since it hadn't put a hole or dent in them they were good to use So I've fitted the inner and outer steering arms and now cleaned and painted my wishbones! So new inner trackrods Cleaned the rack gaitors. New outer track rods. Even had a helping hand from stripes So then came the mission of cleaning up the wishbones. Que a 4.5" grinder, a drill and a couple of wire wheels and wah-la One cleaned vs one untouched. Finished de-rusting. I then knocked, poked and

OEM MR2 W3 LSD diff from MR-S fitting to starlet?
morgey replied to german4efte's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
Yeah the ae111 lsd is an internal lsd so you use all of your none lsd parts to fit it. And the levin 6 speed box doesnt have the 3 bolt holes in the front of the box for the mount but you could strip your 5 speed box and put the 6 speed internals into your casing then just bolt the 6 speed endcasing on to house the extra gears. The c160 box uses thinner gears though so is less suitable for high power than the c52/56 -
Finally got around to playing with the controls and its instantly made it 100x better. Anyone who can play it on pro with the controller with the given controls out the box deserves a medal lol

Anyone. Had problems with Paisley freight?
morgey replied to dangeestarlet's topic in Lifestyle General
I've used them a few times and been pretty good but they sub out to the cheapest courier they can get So it always varies who they use -
Im not overly taken with it, with the base pro settings on my ps4 controller, it is drivable but barely. I found it easiest driving a LM1 car over a 125 shifter kart, ruf turbo or even a r26 megane Which seems a bit stupid to me
-
Yeah the counter steers a huge issue which is just frustrating. the same when you bump into the back of someone, it stops you from turning and you just go straight on like youre attached to the car ahead, even in a like 2 mph knock.
-
Not enjoying it at all tbh lol went straight in at pro with manual so no assists etc which might be the issue. Had to change the throttle to the joystick as i cant do gears and throttle with shoulder buttons (gt4 style y0!) Finished the 1st karting championship then hopped in a ruf turbo at brands and its dreadful. Take a tiny bump from another car and you get thrown into a slide and cant countersteer out. It rains in the practice session so put wet tyres on and they were worse than the drys lol Need to have a fiddle with the settings i think as its deffo not suited for a controller. had a

Id say paint the bump strips personally. I did mine becuase they were the only part of the car left grey
