I'm going to pipe up and say I ran 270ish on a stock engine for about 18 month without a hitch. Wasn't on a FCD mind but the car loved it. It's all in the tune.

As far as I know they are still going to be building them but just not bringing them in to the UK as the US market for them is still quite good ? However I've been wrong before.

This ^^ And when he says deathed it, he isn't joking. That car spent 90% of its life over 5k at WOT. I ran 1.4 daily and 1.6 on a few occasions. Arse dyno said it will have been approx 270/280bhp. It is all down to the tune and I'm sure TD are more then capable of mapping a stock block to that power without any issues. It will be fine, enjoy it and stop worrying.
