Oil Cooler for a N/a
5T4R7ET N/A replied to Starlet-Joshy's topic in N/A E-Series Engine Discussions
You need it to open around 85- 90 degrees -
Most good alarm systems that have a flashing light scares them off. A Clifford is what I have, with sensors that go off when leave window open or vibration of any sort. Just check out good branded systems that are professionally installed and come with warranties. Not cheap, around 275-450

How to do a compression test?
5T4R7ET N/A replied to Turbo Goose's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
Do test with warm engine, and take out the efi fuse in the fusebox that's in the engine bay. Remove one (so you remember what lead goes where) spark plug and make sure you put the tester in properly, not too tight can be hard to get off. When cranking the engine do it with throttle pedal pressed to the floor the whole duration of cranking. Cranking for around 10 seconds is plenty, the compression gauge should be around 10-12 bar and it won't go any higher anyway after its reached max pressure. Write down reading and release pressure in tester, should be a button to do this. Put plug and le -
The fan should kick in at 95 and bring the temp back down to 90. That's what I get on my gauge. Normal driving between 80-85 Has the wiring for gauge been earthed properly??

^^ first time I have come across that!!

I would advise a filter, as you can see how dirty they can get only after a few thousand miles. It's not just the case of the turbo fins being damaged, that dirt or damaged fin can potentially end up going in the engine. You still get chatter with a filter relocation kit, so i don't see the pros of mesh. Apexi filter are the best in my opinion

On track it would be wise to go for a thicker blend.

I'm not a fan of the exhaust but yours has been done properly with it being integrated with the bumper so it looks alright. Get it sprayed up and then we'll see.
