Those bottle caps look ace on there !! Also the TF035 seems a nice choice of turbo, i've a TF035HL comp housing sitting here, need to match it up to something.
I threw a rod in my GT but it was a 98 spec V engine i had in it. Ive stripped down a MK3 GT engine (think it was the original engine but cant be sure) and that had thicker rods than the ones in the V engine.
A GT adjustable one needs about 70 mil cut out to fit a 4paw and still be adjustable. I think this is what Shorty done on his. Or get a section cut out of the existing panhard rod and a threaded bar welded in to make it adjustable.
A new flywheel will be perfect and no checks or anything, just a few miles bedding in for the paddle clutch. Have you considered getting the flywheel you have lightened by a machine shop ?
