  7. Marc this is making me want a DC2 really badly :/
  8. As Morgey said really if the boots bent inside they will more than likely write it off just due to the age and value of the car. Is the person that ran into you offering to front the money to fix it rather than go through insurance ?
  9. What a mint looking GT !! As nice as those P1s are i think you should go total OEM on this and get the optional MK3 alloys
  10. I dont think modding cars is boring, but i also dont think spending every penny you have on modding a car is a good idea either. I much prefer spending cash on hoildays, nights out, weekends away and doing stuff mates than blowing it all on starlet parts !!
  11. Damn, missed out on these wee beauties....
  12. Check the sensors on the thermostat housing, just under the dizzy, the one for the temp gauge is on there. Canny mind which one it is but because GTs and 96 / 98 spec V are different iirc.
  13. Few awesome choice mods on this V buddy, nice one, sets it apart from the rest
  14. Less intercooler pipe, quicker spool time.
  15. Nice slippers Phil
  16. Just type k&n cone filter into ebay, they are one of the best filters makers on the market.
  17. Punt em on civic life for big bucks is always an option lol. Nah be nice to see these on a nice starlet
  18. Get em bought
  19. Will be a properly good setup, it the K1 rotated ?
  20. Can imagine youd get a lot of that breaking a good spec'd car, i wouldnt even entertain them with a reply just delete the PM haha.
  21. It doesnt cost a lot at all bud, just find someone breaking a V or GT near you and get all the bits from them. Aslong as you use looms from a V thats the same year as your 91 then it'll be really straight forward.
  22. Right there is a few ways you can do this and not everyone will agree on this but i think the best way is to get a turbo ECU and get everything else that runs it and bolt the lot a FE engine. Parts i used when converting the 85, all from a GT, so if its a 91 then just get all Glanza parts. ECU Engine loom Dash loom Inlet manifold, throttle body & sensors MAP sensor Injectors Full turbo ignition system, Coil / ignitor Ignition leads Spark plugs Dizzy Thermostat housing Oil filter housing Sump modded for a return or a turbo sump Intercooler kit VF12 turbo kit, mani, downpipe, turbo, oil & water lines, wastegate & screamer Turbo flywheel 3 puk paddle clutch Think thats it, i used a turbo PAS setup aswell. People may have more to add or say you dont need it all Its really easy Jamie give it a shot bud.
  23. How wide are the wheels ? I couldnt fit 13" steelies over GT brakes, but not sure what offset they were.
  24. I was about 50p a mile for a local company to move my old GT, for reference.
