Had my first GT at 17. Bought a silver shell and built it up to TD04 supporting mod spec. Im 23 now and currently own an ep85, had it for 4 years. Just had a pretty big spec forged engine built for it. Ive also got a GT shell, 2 times TOTB winning car. Had 7 starlets in total. 4 subarus and various other Jap stuff.

My Wiseco -10cc dished pistons needed machined slightly, that was using a 0.5mm metal gasket though. Talking shite... mine were near flat tops.

Earth on the inlet held by a 10mm can cause all sorts of similar running issues.

How much was this initially? -
Ct9 hybrid prices are just crazy. Think Race Tech ask about 650 for the turbo alone. Id suggest get a used good (wepr) manifold / downpipe for td/vf turbo fitment. A hose company can make custom oil lines for 50 quid. External gate would be preferred so you can have screamer action, proper EWGs are dear but can run ebay ones at 0.6 bar no problem. (Yet) Then choose from about 20 different turbos to suit your needs with the td / vf / tf flange

Tuning Developments 3sgte corolla

Its not even 4wd. 6.5k haha. -
Haha yeah, people dont seem to like it when i go to view their car, im a vehicle tech. Checking on a ramp is obviously prefered but its not always possible.
-
Apart from the usual starlet checks, Get it jacked up and inspect the 4wd system. Mostly for leaks. If any component has been run dry it wont be long till it fails. There is a grease nipple at the front of the propshaft so you can fill it up a bit. Check the viscous coupling in the middle of the propshaft for leaks. Check the transfer box for leaks. Same with the rear diff and at the brake drums for halfshaft seals leaking. Get it on the ground, do some lock to lock turns to listen for any abnormal noises. And most important, side step the clutch and launch it at 6k rpm and get 4 wheels

Just wondering why my forsale posts are locked?

Theyve been up for ages, reduce the prices if you want them to sell. Not saying theyre not worth what you are asking but folk clearly dont wanna buy them at your prices. -
No they dont sit right at all, there was a pic of one that had them fitted years ago and it was laughable. Toyota made a mistake and supplied the wrong ones to the dude!
-
Plus there has been way more bad reviews than that are actually in the section, many posts got deleted / swept away at the time or shortly after.

The one ive got has GPS internally, plugs into the 12v cig lighter, easy days. More accurate than trying to gauge what a 20 year old KPH clock is in MPH.
