Cammy R Posted January 20, 2015 Share Posted January 20, 2015 What other cars apart from starlets have people had/have?I will start off with mine it was a Renault Clio 1.2 16 valve! i had bought it after i killed my first starlet with a tree, it was initially bought as a run around until i found another starlet but with 125k on the clock and being a Renault she didn't last a month until the engine gave in! so she was scrapped! it was good fun to drive a car i didn't care about and i would be lying if i said i didn't miss it. Please excuse the chav rocket look however i bought it like that but it did have a couple of tastefull mods such as the sport half leather interior and the V6 spoiler. Sold it for £50.Peugeot 206 1.4, blowout on the M5 shot the brakes and suspension all to hell, part ex'd it for1.0 Kia Picanto, owned from new. Currently used a daily by the other half. Flaminsam Posted January 20, 2015 Share Posted January 20, 2015 Well to begin with I had a fiesta mk3 1.1 popular. I then progressed to an escort 1.4 mk5 then an Orion. I had a mondeo for a short time as I wanted to fit the zetec lump to the escort. That didn't happen. Then I ended up with another fiesta 1.6s which I fitted the xr2i kit to with an escort rst box to. That then died of tin worm so I transplanted to a newer shell. That then also died so I bought my first jap car. I soon got bored of the 1.6 engine in it so did something different. I put a ca18det out of a 200sx in it. Shortly after that it died a horrible death (as most ca18 owners know) so I bought an almera gti. This then died as the rear floor pan pretty much fell out 😞 Then I bought my starlet shell. The rest is history apart from the vitara. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
