  1. Well i have no job so i may just do that haha
  2. Get an engine leveller. You can wind it each way to move the center of gravity to tilt it then wind it back to level it out. Makes life a bit easier
  3. Ahh thats a shame, atleast you cant take the blame for it i suppose! Ill be down in christchurch in a few weeks, if youre about would be good to say hi. I've met up with stu in the north island who is a great guy and a wealth of knowledge so would be cool to meet another fellow kiwi whilst im out this way
  4. Welcome along. Nice list of bits youve got to go on, andbe careful with that front bumper its a mk1 gt bumper so very hard to get hold of. Also where about in NZ you from, im currently travelling around there/here for another 5/6 odd weeks
  5. Hes true it does need removing to do the test along with the spark plugs, They need removing regardless haha. However its not a huge amount of work 2 jubilee clips and a couple of bolts and not much can go wrong in doing so. Its worth a look though, shocks are a good brand and it looks tidy but the fsct theyre using different names is a bit odd...
  6. Top work, need to change your thread title now!
  7. No worries fella Regarding the links if its for a car you are selling then yes its generally frowned upon to post links to it. We do have an ebay etc finds section but thats for stuff members have found that may interest others. But if its to show us the car your want to look at then its fine. Link away
  8. Fair play mate a lot would just scrap or sell it lol
  9. Refurb the wheels, bit of a tidy up on the bodywork, set of new decals and a new replica backbox or genuine if 1 could be found and just enjoy it. Would be a good little car to sit on.
  10. That would have been worth hanging onto. The TME evos are going for crazy money these days. A mate got his for sub 8k and now youd be lucky to get one for less than double that. And dont get me started on the 22b impreza!!
  11. Thats rediculous, if they were actually a limited build of sub 1k but 5k isnt realy a limited run is it. Hell they only made 750 SR's they must be worth 30k by now surely?

    Corolla T Sport

On facebook at the moment. Not perfect but very cheap for a facelift
  13. If buying from high Wycombe then id strongly suggest posting said car in here and the name of the guy selling it. Theres a guy with a bit of a rep down there. Ask the owner if you can do a compression check on it. These engine are old and a tired a lot have been ragged, its not uncommon for new owners to get a bit happy of the way home and the engines going bang. The standard turbo manifold is a bit shit as it has restrictions in the runners that cause piston damage if the boost is turned up to much, so if its been replaced thats not a bad thing. Gearboxes 2nd and 3rd gear synchros are fai

    Corolla T Sport

Sam nadeem on facebook, usually has some forsale hes around the birmingham area. Or ask on the corolla club uk page.
  15. Im currently in italy with proper slow internet, The page was a lot of red and white iirc.
  16. Found a company on google recently that shipped a half height pallet 1.2x1x1m to rep of ireland for £90 vat included. Will hopefully be using them to post a sunroof in the next few weeks
  17. Think theres an adjuster under the dash at the top of the pedal
  18. It will also depend on the quality of the rad, a £70 ebay civic rad isnt going to perform anywhere near as well as a £200 one. If you look at quality rads next to cheap ones theres a significant difference. But as golden vtr said full face is better as air will take the path of least resistance and just go around it in some cases
  19. Another guy fitted a larger master cylinder to stiffen his pedal up. Have you gone around all the brakes or just the fronts?
  20. Usually a lip formed, if you look on the back of the drum theres a little slot sometimes with a rubber grommet over it. Remove that and you should see a little gear/wheel you can wind that in to draw the shoes in a bit to help release that past the lip. Of if youre not worried get a big ol hammer and knock them off
  21. Most of the standard e12 issues really, definitely didnt build them as well as the previous model 😛
  22. Oh if its in rep then you need to get it re-registered and mot'd etc I do believe you can insure it on the vin number and drive it home on the NCT but do not quote me on that
  23. North is part of the uk so you can just buy it, sort tax and insurance and drive it home. The v5c might be called something different but its much a muchness
  24. Considering I've not had a 4efe in my starlet since 2008 I've actually got one of these as i found it in the loft yesterday haha. Drop me PM and we can sort something out
