The r888r's are in a different tyre range to the ad08's even if theyre not in a different price bracket. You'd be looking at A048's to be comparable but probably pay an extra 30-50 a corner or something daft. Have you got a baffled sump on this or do they have one standard?

If its for where the bush meets bar, tube and wishbones, silicone grease. Where the Nuts and Bolts meet copper grease 👍

Id probably use silicone grease as copper slip can dry up a bit over time

Im using a 4efe one on my 20v. had to swap the pulley over and cut the terminal down a bit so it cleared the plwnum but works fine.

Could always get stuff machined like the box holes on the ring gear and shim out the gearboxes to suit a smaller diff but then the shafts might not reach in far enough to lock.

Will be the sliders binding in the rubber gaitors most likely. Can get rebuild kits, fit the new rubber boots with some silicone grease and should be good to go. Its worth checking over the whole caliper but usually its just the sliders.

I didnt have the time to do my research before fitting mine as my old brakes were literally falling apart. I opted for yellowstuff as mines only a daily, theyve been on the car just shy of a year and are spot on for this, its a 1120kg corolla, so on a starlet you shouldnt get any issues. But if you started doing track work then id personally opt for something else

I had the same issue finding pads to suit my levin twinpots, you'll still be using levin pads with the st202 carriers! From what i can work out mr2 turbo twinpots are the same pad and theres a much bigger selection for them.

Look good them, i guess for Uk spec fuse cover the glanza V logo could be replaced with the starlet logo instead. Just a thought not sure what it would look like but On the fuse cover what about a stainless cover for the lower area too. Only needs a hole for the bonnet stay clip but might be something extra to think about

This probably isnt the best but should be fairly clear. These are the same system 2.5" with mid and backbox Blue run is bigger diameter 4-1 header (not great for low-mid) but with a cat so more backpressure. Red run is smaller 4-2-1 (better low-mid) header but decat. The initial torque is much greater with a cat even with a bigger header. Top end i would say its slightly restricted by the cat but its generally more drivable. I should also note that the red run is done with a enclosed plenum and long arm airfilter which is better for smooth torque than incorrect length trumpets in a pod filter (blue run). So is a bit to consider but it goes to show what an airfilter and cat can do to your power and torque.

2.75" damn yeah that might be half your problem, my two 20vs only runs 2.5" and maybe 2.25" the one with the smaller exhaust definitely has much better mid range but the bigger has more top end. I would have stuck with 2.25" max on an n/a maybe not even that tbh

Decat and pod filter have been known to loose low end so might be that. Not sure if youve a decat but asuming you have.
