  1. It’s a cat temp sensor not a true EGT sensor, the Wolf won’t use it so it’s not problem it not being there. As said above, make sure you have a good wideband fitted and wired to the ECU. Ive seen a lot of the Wolf installs done on the stock narrowband which partially defeats the point of a standalone.
  2. The turbosmart Compgate 40 also fits the same flange, usually cheaper (and better) too if you can’t find a Tial one.
  3. There is not a PnP solution as such. Fiske are doing an inlet currently to suit a Bosch Motorsport 74mm DBW but this may be too big for most setups. The pedal was easy as its got a Tilton pedal box, so again you’d need to mod an OE pedal to fit. It’s all fairly simple to do but you’ll mostly have to piece the parts together yourself.
  4. Would like to see the results, As well as the water pressure testing you mentioned months ago.. not seen them yet....?
  5. Just realised you emailed me a while back so you have the price
  6. I can supply you new if you can’t find a used one. I did a starlet loom for a Link storm just yesterday !
  7. Ah that’s a shame, as If you could see the boost curve off the dyno; you’d be able to see where you can make some improvements with electronic boost control.
  8. I would personally yes, main reason being to improve spool for you. Did TD give you another graph with the boost plot on?
  9. Nice updates Was there a reason for not using any electronically controlled boost control? You could improve the response, control and safety if so 👍
  10. Have you confirmed the alternator is charging?
  11. Replace the wiring and use shielded cable
  12. All explained here Check your base timing too. If you’re still struggling you could take the car to Perfect Touch in Enfield. My company is based in their workshop so can get it sorted with them.
  13. You’ve said you’ve cleaned the plugs, but have you confirmed they’re sparking when cranking? Its usually timing related if you have fuel and spark. Any fault codes from the EML?
  14. Yup used them before without issue!
  15. https://fiskeautomotive.com/collections/ep91-bodywork/products/toyota-starlet-glanza-ep91-jam-style-side-skirts Cars looking great, i do have a soft spot for a clean silver V!
  16. No problem! If the crank doesn’t need to be ground I wouldn’t, as you leave more material for future if you ever need to then. A polish would suffice if all in spec but your chosen engine builder will advise. Caps are more hassle than they’re worth for most builds in all honesty, I’ve put a set in the latest engine revision which is being finished at the moment, but this has been built for ~550bhp so not your average build; they were a pain in the ass, the thrust machining wasn’t perfect so had to be rectified; then they all need line boring and honing too etc.
  17. I can only work the mystery man out to be Chris Bover Ireland... he was the only starlet “specialist” in Manchester... and let’s be honest, we all know how that ended....
  18. It wasn’t evidence tho was it.. it was someone’s opinion; I’m giving Gavin evidence so he doesn’t shell out unnecessarily. Gavin, the last 3 cars I did were 463bhp, 408bhp and 360bhp, all were stock cap, all have had no problems. Fiske have an engine build in for a customer at the moment and it will be over 300bhp and supplied with a warranty, the company has no issue doing that if it’s done to a certain spec with an ecu that has a logbook. You can message my brother if you’re interested in the companies services or myself if you’re just after general first hand , trie
  19. All the UK ones have failed to build an engine that produces power more reliably than the ones I’ve done, so I don’t need to call them for advice. One of them advises against COP which i still don’t understand so the last thing I’d do is take advice on end caps from them. Saying over 300 you’re going to have problems with caps is simply not true; it’s just frustrating to see advice because someone told you on the phone. Do the development work yourself, then give first hand advice to owners.
  20. Nice progress so far. The black box you mentioned in your pics above is for the indigo dials you have. Josh has given you good advice on the engine build. Sam, can you show the evidence of ‘alot of engines over 300 cracking caps’? I’ve seen one and have run 460bhp on stock caps without issue. Gav, for your build you won’t need billet caps.
  21. Why dont you swap from batch to sequential?
