5e means better torque, either way. And spool will be about the same as they are simlar in size compared to the egine size if ya get me. Power wise td05 will make more but even on a forged 4e td05 would make more over the td04 just be a bit more laggy over the 4e td04 route. Dont write of the gt series turbos as you can get td05 power from td04 spool times. Look at socks and ryan-11 for examples of gt setups. Both massive power on 4e engines.

Bg freezer, buy a months at a time in meats from a good local butcher and freeze it , you will be shocked howmuch you get these days from the butcher over the supermarket (plus its not slovakian horse meat etc lol) also look on freecycle for good second hand white goods, sofas etc. Its full of people who want rid of decent things but cant be doing with ebay etc. Can set yourself up for almost free with enough to get you by for a year or two while you slowly buy your own new goods and furniture. Plus as others have said prepare to want kill eatch other once in a while. As its a bit of a change

Yea they are all the same mate, and would be around 200ish quid in the uk brand dependant. And as long as you mean oil pump seal not an oil pump as a new pump in the uk is around 120 quid where as the seal is aroun 8 quid.

I ran them in black on my first v in silver and on my second v in black for a little while. Rs5's suit v's imo.

Loving the super clean mild manor of your v mate, all the mods are so subtle and complimentary. Think the oem recaro interior would finish this off perfectly. Keep up the awesome work mate

I just got back from turky on thursday, was mid 40's out there and harsh heat when the sun is above you in a clear sky allday. It looks like a ct9 mani, then a t3 flange welded to that then the turbo is bolted to the t3 flange so the turbo should come off if you abuse the 4 nuts holding it on. Itsfor external wastegate use id say and a t3/t4 turbo will see around 300hp+ on the right setup. They pull like fook! If it was me id split the turbo and either sell that with the down pipe as a freebie as it could be moded to work on another mani. Or buy a t3 starlet mani and down pipe from WEPR or Zisco. Nothing wrong with running this at low boost but will be a bit laggy for not a massive reward as much more than .6bar or so

I broke my old v to pay of debt, as know one would pay me what it cost to build by a mile and then the shell whent to the crusher as no one wanted that either. Was a perfectly mint 205 black sunroofbeddition v. Meh is what it is. Think how few good ae86's are left. Good ones are 8k plus easy!! Basicaly what paul said tbf. Can ocasionaly pick up a doggy gt with a sound engine for the 1500 ish mark. Also if you are buying to not be a main car can get a rolling shell for around 600-1000 and an engine for 350-500 and boom nice mint starlet on the cheap

Go in to toyota mate, go to the parts desk and give them the vin number as it doesnt matter where it was made the toyota epc is linked globaly, they told me my first v was an auto converted to manual in japan as it came up as origonaly an auto through the epc!! They can tell you in seconds dude. Fact!

Got gt kit on the 3door 85 mate as when i bought it the jdm rear bumper had been swapped so i kitted it with oem gt parts from grants old gt with a few other choice parts ;) but this is staying very clean and unmolested on the outside. As for sleeper dont know tbh. Got a 5e sat around that need a home some when but the 100ps 4e are wicked nippy engines so i have no big plans yet.

Id say you have a knackered engine mount, and more likely the rear gearbox one.
