Corey
You should look into getting an electric power steering setup the would make the bay look even better without the pump and realated stuff. Edited January 20, 2012 by Corey

Dean-Dak
First time I've been on the forum in a while, last time I looked at this thread the car was being broke for parts. Good to see that didn't happen to it. I'm not a fan of aftermarket kits on glanzas but this car has changed my opinion. Keep it up pal!
Burny
Good work mate :-)
Idrees
Cheers guys, I really appreciate all the awesome comments! Some good news, and a little text update..She is booked in for a photoshoot in the next few weeks, she is going to be featured in Japanese Performance magazine. One of their staff approched us at Japfest2 and offered a feature, the car was very far from finished then so we told him we'd get in touch when the cars near completion, which it now is. So when I contacted them last week they got back to me very quickly and booked a date for a photoshoot. I was going to keep this quiet that's why I didn't mention it above, but I couldn't hold it in any longer! With that sorted, I had to add so many things to the Glanza's to-do' list, the following have been ticked off:Whiteline rear panhard rod fittedCelica 274mm brake set up fitted - I'm paranoid to drive it now though as the wheel nuts don't have much turn on them, so I've ordered some longer wheel studs. The front wheels now have even more poke as they are out another 5mm.Rear bumper meshed (half complete job, finishing off tomorrow)HKS SSQV purchased, reducer ordered so need that to arrive before fitting itPurchased/fitted chrome oil capI've also ordered a connection for the Tial wastegate so I can finally connect the vac hoses, purchased an Emanage Blue from a friend of Rob Fisher, and a 3 bar map sensor from Daz. I'll set about fitting the ECU next weekend as long as it arrives on time, and I'm also currently speaking to Nick @ Tuning Developments regarding mapping! The next few weeks should be interesting, and I need to spend a lot more time in the garage (which is difficult while studying an Engineering degree) so I'll probably cut down my visits to the gym and boxing sessions in order to have the car all done.Other things still to do include:Make a custom centre consoleSandblast/powder coat Whiteline rear ARB and purchase new shiny bolts, then fit itFit new Sony front speakers, and JBL rear 6x9" (as the current sound quality is absolutely terrible)Book in new OEM windscreen seal to be fittedOrder hoses for cam cover>catch canTidy injector wires

We need more feature worthy cars It looks like it did originally... apart from its been broken and put back together like 3 times haha! Just imagine you could have had a complete beast at this stage and further last year if you had kept with it.Your a crazy mofo but its the crazies that make the best cars lol. Top work mate Oi you, I only half-stripped it once! Which I don't regret as the money I sold those parts for bought me a daily driver which allowed the Glanza to live on! Cheers Awesome man, glad you never got rid like you mentioned some months back!Keep up the good/hard work.JCheers dude! Looking good. I think I prefer this Glanza to seba's.That's a big statement right there, his car is nothing short of JDM porn!Right, little update.I've fitted longer studs to the front hubs on one side, bought them from eBay on Sunday night and they arrived this afternoon (Tuesday). Can't fault that to be fair, especially at the price (~£12 for ten). I'll get on to the other side if I can make time. This was so much easier to do with a compressor and air gun, thanks for tips Wallace ;) it took me around 1.5 hours all in while just relaxing and doing the work slowly (and had 2 cuppas in that time, usually I'm lucky to have one in 3 hours)!Old onesThey came off very easily with a slight tap from this huge hammer (which makes my hand look tiny)New brakes refitted with longer studsThe wheels fit perfectly now, have 12mm extra thread so nothing to worry about.A few pics from fitting the panhard rodFront end literally sat on the floor (as expected). You may have also noted the new number plates, which were so badly needed (I'm a picky git with number plates). The front is a rear motorbike plate with white backing, and the rear is a full import size 13x7". Rear bumper is meshed now ready to be refitted. More updates soon (all being well)! micky boy
Good work iddy Lmao at the size of that hammer made chuckle.
Idrees
I thought I'd avoid smashing the hell out of the little stud with a small hammer by the way I posted the sensor to you today, good luck with getting your car running well again.

lew777
agreed mate but some of these mags dont realise the time and effort people put into these cars . just because there not 1000bhp skylines doesnt mean they dont deserve more featuresrant over
Idrees
im loving this mate as u kno im a gt lover but this is the nicest glanza iev ever seen kudos to u mate n that engine bay is just sex Cheers Dale, that's appreciated! hi mate dont happen to have a link for the extended wheel studs do you?cheerssamYes mate here: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item415654fd8dagreed mate but some of these mags dont realise the time and effort people put into these cars . just because there not 1000bhp skylines doesnt mean they dont deserve more featuresrant over You have a fair point! Update, Emanage has arrived so I'm hoping to fit that on the weekend if I get my Uni work out of the way.Rear bumper completely meshed, that's the rear end of the car done (apart from repairing the chip in the bumper from rolling in to a bollard)How the brakes look behind the wheel, these wheels even made my old Wilwood setup look small! The wheels are out another 5mm now as you can see below, so I need to get some camber on there to stop them catching the arches on sharp turns.I also need to order some more mesh for the bonnet and the front bumper top grill, then concentrate on the interior (mainly new speakers and centre console). Jamie1st
Hugeeee camber on the front please! Looking good though man
