Also could tou not just re grind a new valve in and rplase the turbo wheel ?? Or is it no a easy turbo to do ??

getting a wheel to match and then balancing the turbo accordingly? Not a bolt on and boost up lol Edited by TurboTobz

Sorry to hear about this mate hope it gets sorted soon :)

But now that you have removed the head will you be using head studs or sticking with head bolts? Or are you already using head studs?

yikes.. the ups and downs of modified car ownership have been summed up in the last two pages.


I hope you struggle on because that video of the car on the dyno... like really?! what did i just hear? A baby t-rex squealing haha :)

Unlucky mate could have been worse could have been on the way to japfest with no way of getting it home and done more damage! Least you have an excuse now to use arp studs and go for more power with a bigger turbo:p

Maybe a imperfection when being made and gradually deteriorates and cracks then the tip comes off like it did do, or being dropped in transit may cause them to be damaged and do the same over time
