They look awesome as you'll see in a sec...

I used the good old trick of tearing up a tesco bag, put the plastic over the nut, then put socket on. Then you dont scratch them!

Doesnt look like it will flake off tho, they look to be anodized too not painted so...

Got them fitted anyways, defo feel like they torque up better!

love those nuts.

imo one of the only things you could do to improve the look of that car is to get some big spacers and get some arch work done. OR even better get the same rims but an inch wider and some spacers. Would make the world of difference and give it a much meaner stance.

Looking well mate

Yeah be careful with lightweight nuts the threads wear very easily on them I would be nervous of them coming off. thinking of changing my Rays nuts back to standard nuts.

Nice tip with the Tesco bag and the socket though mate defo using that next time! ;)

Well doing a bit of a tidy up of wiring, wiring the gauges back up from well the PAS belt snapping ripped them out! Polishing and cleaning in areas you cant see under bonnet... Stuff like that...

New Oil Filter & Sandwich Plate to go back on!

and my JD tuning civic rad bracket was looking a bit worse for wear, I noticed that it was angling the civic rad. So my old man cut me a perspex one out of clear 6mm! Such a better fit, Looking forward to seeing how it holds up to driving, if it cracks or anything Ill just get my design cut from alloy! or Carbon maybe hehe!

Gonna be needing some new tyres too, tormorrows job tho! :)

it just gets better and better. the Cruise Bonnet looks much better then the Varis. Especially the fact that it's white instead of carbon.

You defiantly need some buckets seats though man. you'll find its so much easier to drive the car when your no sliding about all over the shop.

Good work.

Cheers people!

Well, I have to say. Im completely sold on this car now! Im besotted with it!

Had a fantastic weekend. Used the car both days. Got to know it and get a really good feel with it and its chuffing epic..

Pops, bangs and crackles on overun, Screams when coming on boost, Thanks to some new tyres I can JUST get power down in 2nd gear on a warm day. The car grips and handles so well!

There is very few words I can use to try and describe how much I love this thing at the minute. Im Sold!

As if things werent enough....

I fitted my TRD Quickshift back on, as with the old box before rebuild it made the crunching worse. Super smooth now and a much shorter throw!

IMG_0639.JPG

TRD left... Stocker right.

IMG_0640.JPG

Tiny bit longer, but made a big difference I have to say!

I removed the bonnet catch support bracket too (dont use the stock catch) and it looks loads better from the front for it!

IMG_0642.JPG

and lastly, wired up my JDM rear lights properly too. So I now have all 4 rear lights illuminated like it was before I got my Reflet Lights! :D

IMG_0645.JPG

Im gonna go to sleep now with the biggest grin on my face knowing what Ive got parked up in my garage! lol

Love it! x
