Anyhoo! My time came, it was strapped down, I was hoping for at least 300bhp! I was pleasently suprised...

socksrr.JPG

My Glanza made 344.3bhp @ 6600rpm with 286.7lb-ft @ 6050rpm @ 1.4bar of Boost!!!

I was grinning like a cheshire cat too, it sounded sooo rude on the rollers (video coming soon by the way!!!)

Im guessing thats power v torque on that graph..? if so power and torque will cross at 5250rpm so something looks a bit out? Epic motor tho, and im sure its going to be plenty powerful, afterall it is what it drives like, not what a dyno says

They would only cross at that point if the scaling on both sides was even. Common mistake people make. :)

So! Shes back home again, and its time for the big clean before the first event of the year for me, which unfortunatly is a meet to say farewell to our good fellow EP Tuner, Dave Burwash!

Working on the back first, took the wheels off. They were on the front but due to low tread were swapped to back for the dyno runs! Previous CV Boot Failures and 6months of dirt caked on was a right pain to get off!

IMG_0526.JPG

That simply wont do! Disgusting! Dont worry too I have new tyres to go on them!

IMG_0527.JPG

So after alot of GUNK cleaner, and good brushing...

IMG_0537.JPG

Yeh mayte!

IMG_0538.JPG

While the wheels were off, I thought id wip my Coilovers off, give them a good clean (been on car from JDM) and maybe give the arches some treatment too!

IMG_0528.JPG

They werent as mucky as I thought they would be, but still worthy of a clean!

IMG_0543.JPG

Thats better!

Few more close ups for reference!

Still amazes me how a 14 year old car be so mint underneath!

I laughed when I jacked up 1 side of the car at the back, and the chassis is setup so stiff, i had both wheels off the floor hehe!

IMG_0545.JPG

The RARB has taken a battering, but nothing bad enough to warrant me taking it off to get re-done just yet! :)

IMG_0546.JPG

Always makes me giggle when I see the size of the exhaust too haha!

IMG_0536.JPG

Then I thought to myself, I dont use the car in the rain or snow or in winter at all, it isnt my daily drive... But I still want to protect it..

Underseal was the answer!

After:

It will dry matte with no shine at all, which shouldnt take long in this heat!

Been talking to a local garage about borrowing a ramp on a sunday to do the rest of underside... But if I do the arches for now its a start!

More to come Folks :)

Lovely car mate and good result but arent you going to push it some more, or whats the point of going for a 30.

Yes, but at the minute, any more boost blows the spark out... So coil2plug is my next step but more then enough power for the minute lol!

that is stunning mate, great work

Cheers matey!
