Yes sorry my comment was aimed at the OP, i should have quoted it Its not easy to work out from the original post what way they are trying to do it so more information the better. The way you have done it is a good way too. -
SR 4efe to 4efe-t Conversion Ecu Plug Question..
RobSR replied to Sportif 4efte's topic in Electronics
What loom are you using? a GT 4efte one? a Glanza 4efte? the original 4efe one with the fte bits spliced in? Let me know and ill advise what you need to do. You cant easily plug a 3 - connector Glanza ECU into the 2 - connector 4efe loom if thats what you are trying to do. -
Yes as above It’s trial and error as to much and if may not engage/disengage correctly.
-
If the clutch is new and known good, you can adjust the push rod on the clutch to lower the bite point.
-
Nice work

The 82 GT loom and 91 loom are different, however with basic wiring knowledge it’s not that hard to splice the GT engine loom into the 91 loom. This way you can still keep all the other looms in the car without having to change them.
-
'82 guessing? If 91 i can help.
-
I dont - sorry!

Haha! Its not bad, lots of nice supercar outfits around Bologna

Unfortunately im in Italy with work so not about.
-
That doesn’t sound good!!!
-
It’s certainly not plug and play. It could be done however but you’d need to do a lot of re-pinning and connector changes especially the interior. Youll find a EP82 GT loom easily enough, use that and save yourself a lot of hassle imo.

Still in process mate. Cruise in Japan took some time to make an EP91 bonnet but that’s now with our supplier in mould so we will have the vent. Just need to get a good GT bonnet now so play around with.

Well yes you’ll still need to do that. You can use the emanage ‘launch control’ to hold the revs stable for you, but like said above, how you engage the clutch is the main thing.
-
I believe @TrisK has one in his GT but correct me if I am wrong!
-
The launch control in an emanage is fairly basic and doesn’t really help all that much. Launching it is down to your clutch control and progressively disengaging the clutch to aid with traction, rather than just dumping the clutch in one hit.

I’d need to double check as I rarely run the standard lambda but from memory white. Whats the problem you have?
-
There’s quite a few things on the main EFI fuse. Firstly check the feed to it from the battery, there is a 15A fuse before the efi relay from the battery from memory. Check the current it is drawing. Guessing you have a multimeter or can get access to one? You then have a feed that goes from this to the ECU, again check this, and the ECU itself. Injectors and Coil are also powered by this, so same applies as above. It is ground by the left hand fender, check this and re ground if necessary/for peace of mind. The fuel pump relay feeds from the main efi relay also. Agai

Yes you can do this via most standalone ECU’s as long as they have a driven wheel speed input. You can do this on the Link

They are all on our website. I think you’ll struggle to find one for £100. If you want a genuine one you can still buy them new from Livesports direct.
